PORT ORANGE MUSIC ACADEMY is open to all students, ages 8 & up, from Port Orange & surrounding communities. This is a Nationally recognized performing band focusing on many instruments including: flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and percussion. The following groups will be offered at this time:
Mondays: 3:00 – 3:45 PM / Beginning Woodwinds
4:00 – 4:45 PM / Advanced Brass & Percussion
5:00 – 5:45 PM / Advanced Woodwinds
Wednesdays: 4:00 – 4:45 PM / Full Advanced Band
4:45 – 5:30 PM / Jazz Band
5:30 – 6:00 PM / Elite Ensemble (Experience / Audition)
Thursdays: 3:00 – 3:45 PM / Beginning Brass & Percussion
4:00 – 4:45 PM / Full Beginning Band
Rehearsal Location- Port Orange United Church of Christ (651 Taylor Road, Port Orange)
Band Program Fees
Lessons – $45 per month. Includes both section rehearsals and full band rehearsals (see schedule)
